Minnesota Comprehensive AssessmentsMCA II tests in Reading and Math are given each year in April and are required by Federal No Child Left Behind law and the Minnesota Department of Education. Results of Reading and Math tests are used to track school Adequate Yearly Progress. Click here to access your personalized Learning Locator information. Your personal "learning locator" is printed on your individual MCA II reports that were mailed home in August. 2011 Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment Results
NWEA MAP TestingNWEA Measures of Academic Progress, computerized tests given in September, January and June track student progress from Fall to Spring and from grade to grade. Student results are compared to a national sample of 2.8 million students. Click here for more information for parents. Students have individualized goal sheets that are sent home. Teachers use results to plan differentiated instruction for all students. Areas tested are Reading, Math, General Science and Concepts and Processes.
