Culture & Discipline at LJA // Tie-Dye Party
Learn how LJA teachers and staff support your child’s growth through social-emotional learning and student discipline. We will introduce Peer Community Networks and the Developmental Designs approach, which provides structures for teaching the whole child, so that “academic growth is enhanced, not limited, by the social and emotional realities of young adolescents”. Led by Terrence Thigpen, Cultural Liaison and Anna Robinson, 7/8 LASS teacher.
Scholars will tie-dye their first LJA uniform shirt. Each new student attending this event will receive one white LJA uniform t-shirt to use for tie-dying as a free gift!
