Fall Intersession

Intersession is coming! Students can spend five fun days experiencing classes of their choice with topics like sports, politics, build your own universe, superheroes, hip hop, mythology, horror, mystery and drama. From October 8th-12th, LJA will be providing a week of intersession programming primarily taught by student teachers from the University of Minnesota. There are six awesome classes to choose from!

The Enrollment Fee is $125. If possible, please consider paying additional money towards another student’s enrollment fee.

All LJA students are encouraged to participate in intersession regardless of ability to pay. Payment assistance is available to students who qualify for free and reduced lunch or are experiencing financial hardship.

The intersession day is 9:10 am to 4:10 pm – just like the regular school day. Please drop students off between 8:40 and 9:10 and pick them up by 4:40.

Because regular food service is not available during intersession, students should eat breakfast prior to coming to school, and they need to bring a bag lunch and beverage to intersession every day or sign up for a free “sandwich of the day” bag lunch on this form.

Please return the registration form with the class selections ranked from 1 to 6. Students who do not rank their class choices will be placed randomly.

Please note that there is no busing for intersession. If you will not be able to arrange transportation for your student, please contact Ms. Cassandra to assist in arranging a car pool or city bus tokens.

Students do not need to be in uniform for intersession. Outfits should be appropriate for a learning environment.

Registration forms are due Thursday, September 27th by 4:30 pm Please contact Anna with questions at or 651-414-6000.
