Information for Prospective New Students
APPLICATION for the 2017-2018 school year
Applications are accepted anytime between November 10, 2016 and March 10, 2017. It does not matter when in that time period the application is received. All on-time applications will be included in our lottery for open spots for the 2017-2018 school year.
If the number of applications exceeds the capacity for a given grade level, a lottery will be conducted within two weeks of the application deadline. Applications received after the deadline will be placed on the waiting list for that grade level. Families will be notified of their application status by the end of March.
Admission to Laura Jeffrey Academy is not based on intellectual ability, measures of achievement or aptitude, athletic ability, disability, race, creed, national origin, religion, gender, GLBTQ, or any other grounds that would be unlawful. Laura Jeffrey Academy requires no tuition or admission tests.

3. Register your student for a Shadow Day.
Prospective students can spend the day with a current LJA Student and experience classroom life at LJA firsthand. It is helpful for families to take the time to tour LJA or attend an Information Session prior to signing their student up for shadowing, but is not required. This experience is intended for prospective students who are considering attending LJA and would like to learn more about our school. Please call the school office at 651-414-6000 for more information or to schedule a visit.
