We are proud of the learning environment and educational framework we offer for students during their years in middle school. LJA currently has openings for students in grade 5 and 7. Contact the school directly at 651-414-6000 if you are interested in enrolling at LJA now. We are full for grades 6 and 8, but will be happy to put your student's name on our waiting list. We will notify families when/if any spots become available during the school year.
Admission to Laura Jeffrey Academy is not based on intellectual ability, measures of achievement or aptitude, athletic ability, disability, race, creed, national origin, religion, gender, GLBT, or any other grounds that would be unlawful. Laura Jeffrey Academy requires no tuition or admission tests.
Enrollment Process for 2012-2013 school year--grades 5-8
Initial APPLICATIONS will be accepted anytime between November 1, 2011 and 4:00 PM on March 9, 2012. It does not matter when in that time period the application is received. All on-time applications will be included in our lottery for open spots in the 2012-2013 school year.
If the number of applications exceeds each grade level capacity, a lottery will be conducted within two weeks after the application deadline. Applications received after the deadline will be placed at the end of the lottery list for that grade.
Families will be notified of their application status by the end of March.

Tours for parents and prospective students are offered on Tuesdays at 9:00 AM (or by appointment) and last approximately one hour and include an overview of the school. Call the school office at 651-414-6000 to schedule a visit.
2. Attend an information session for prospective families. Get an overview of the school's framework, curriculum, mission and a tour of the school. (No pre-registration is necessary.) Tuesday, January 24th 4:30-5:30 PM

3. Register your student for a Shadow Day.
Prospective students can spend the day with a current LJA Student and experience classroom life at LJA firsthand. Students considering applying for next year are invited to shadow. Please contact the school office at 651-414-6000 to register for one of the following dates.
