TECHNOLOGY INTERNSHIP POSITION
Job Responsibilities
Participate on the facilities and technology committee
Recommend the technology infrastructure for the school and potential vendors
- Research technology and vendors used by other charter schools in the city
- Research LJA’s specific infrastructure needs
- Ensure that set up, protocols and maintenance of the system are in place
- Recommend equipment for purchasing
- Set up protocols and procedures for documentation, use and maintenance
- Work with the vendor(s) to set up the system
- Research and design media center
Qualifications:
- Completing Junior or Senior level work or grad student
- Interest and experience with technology
- Interest in systems issues and education
- Interest in issues of race, gender and class and how they affect girls and women
- Organized, Independent, Enthusiastic and Curious
HOURS:
- Minimum of 10 hours/week
- January - May
PAY:
- $ 500.00 stipend at completion of internship
